Abstract
This study examined alcohol norms and alcohol use among Latino college students and its interaction with depression utilizing data from the American College Health Association’s National College Health Assessment. There was a significant interaction between past year depression and perception of the number of drinks of the typical student (b = -.178, p < .05). Future directions and practical implications are discussed, including the influence of culture.
