Abstract
The Author proposes a parent awareness model to increase confidence in parenting biracial adolescents. The purpose of the model is to raise sensitivity to the biracial adolescent’s unique path of racial development, foster healthy communication and provide education in managing difficult racial issues for parents who are raising biracial adolescents.
