Abstract
A survey of items culled from literature on Borderline Personality Disorder was offered to practicing psychologists in APA Divisions 12, 17, and 42. Participants indicated how frequently they observed the items in clients with this diagnosis. Factor analysis and multidimensional scaling will be used to assess how clinicians construe BPD.
