Western Michigan University's College of Health and Human Services was established in 1976 and moved to its new home on WMU's Oakland Drive Campus in 2005.

The college is committed to educating exemplary professionals in health care, rehabilitation, and social services, and to conducting research, disseminating knowledge, and developing mutually enriching community partnerships.

The college is composed of exceptional, longstanding programs in blindness and low vision studies, nursing, occupational therapy, physician assistant, social work, and speech pathology and audiology. Emerging programs include gerontology, health technology, holistic health and others.
