Abstract
Behavior Analysis students in Psychology 360 currently fail to demonstrate the desired level of mastery of the eight direct-acting contingencies. This is evident by their scores on the Psychology 460 Chapter One homework. In an attempt to address this issue, I created a review of the eight contingencies to assist with students' identification of them using contingency diagrams. Subjects were Psychology 360 students randomly assigned to complete the "Review of the Eight Contingencies". Preliminary data show an overall performance of94% on the "Review of the Eight Contingencies". Because this is newly created material, it is difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of this review without further testing.
