Abstract
Imagine going to the doctor for a cold. You would want the best possible care and the most effective techniques to cure your ailments. Perhaps the best way to do this would be to use several different techniques from all around the world. A decongestant could be used to clear your sinuses while acupuncture and moxibustion could be used to clear the stagnant Qi from your lungs. These practices, both the Eastern and the Western, have been helping to improve the quality of life of patients for years. Eastern medicine is backed by the strength of time while Western medicine is backed by the strength of science. Combining these two modalities would benefit patients on both sides of the globe and create a strong new way to practice medicine.
