Abstract
This was the first of a series of studies investigating the dietary habits of preschool children. The purpose of this initial investigation was to establish a dependent measure to assess the consumatory behavior of children in a preschool program and to obtain data using the assessment. A secondary purpose was to re cord anecdotal data and incidental environmental changes that affect consumatory behavior, thus suggesting future research into the controlling variables that influence dietary habits.
