Abstract
Teaching is a profession that requires its faculty to learn daily about themselves and their surroundings. They must work to learn about their students and the best way in which they will learn in class, how the discipline policy works to keep control of the classroom, and a myriad of other things throughout the day and throughout the school year. In order to stay current in the educational setting, teachers must read journals and other literature on the profession and on their content area. They must work to apply this new knowledge to their classroom and to their school in order to establish the best environment for both student and teacher.
