Abstract
To open the door to a bright new future, first you need the key. That key is education. I feel that providing our youth an education without music is not providing them with a key to a bright future. I began my study of music integration in the spring of 1995. During that time I prepared for my field research by collecting a variety of songs and rhythm activities appropriate for music integration at camp. Throughout the summer I concentrated on the use of music in the camp setting and the benefits that it provided. This study shall benefit me in the future as I use music in my classroom for the benefit of the students and myself.
