Abstract
Many factors determined my choosing this area for my Honor's College Senior Project. First, I felt that Joe needed considerable help in acquiring the skills necessary to be deemed a good reader. I also felt that since I will need to know how to teach children to read when I begin teaching, I would benefit greatly from this experience. Finally, I felt that others might benefit in reading this paper in terms of discovering the different methods that were used and the usefulness of those methods for their own experiences.
