Abstract
After I had read some, of Dorothy Parser's poetry I felt a great empathy for her. Her verses are wonderful. They have tones of bitterness, disillusionment, wit and insight. It occurred to me to delve deeper into the twenties when most of them reached their greatest fame. Perhaps this would answer some of my questions.
