Abstract
This Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) handbook is the Western Michigan University (WMU) stage managers' basic handbook. Even though it was designed for Shaw Theatre productions, the document also contains general stage management information useful for all WMU Theatre Department productions. This SOP has been organized chronologically and references several WMU Theatre documents and stage management books. This SOP should be edited and revised as often as necessary to keep procedures current and relevant.
