Abstract
The Western Herald is the student newspaper which is distributed Monday through Thursday during the Fall and Spring semesters at Western Michigan University (WMU). Each of these four days, 8500 copies are printed by the Kalamazoo Gazette and delivered to the Western Herald, in which delivery drivers distribute them to over 160 locations, on and off the campus of WMU. Aside from the general manager, the Herald is student-run, employing approximately 65 students whose roles range from writing articles, editing, selling advertising space,or delivering the final product to each of the 160 locations in which the Herald can be found.
