Abstract

Dr. David Loberg Code of the Kalamazoo Laptop Orchestra (KLOrk) is in need of a better application for transmitting input data between apple iOS devices and apple laptops. The current application (Mrmr, pronounced murmur) has a couple of issues. Mrmr currently produces too much network traffic when continuous inputs are requested by the application, such as accelerometer data, and is out of date. To resolve these issues a program was developed to transmit sensor data across the network in a more controlled fashion over Open Sound Control (OSC). 2
