Abstract

The author compared grocery stores on each city, Hollywood and Paris, based on their use of in-store marketing strategies. In-store displays, store layouts and merchandising decisions were the main focus of observation. Background research on the demographics of each city as well as the history of the retailers was completed in order to understand the results.
