Abstract
The basis for this investigation is to find the common ground and relationship, if any, between the social psychological concept of role-taking and the sociological theories concerning delinquency. Role-taking is an integral part of the process that develops the self-concept. By examining the concept, we may learn more about the interaction processes that may lead to delinquency.
