Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of using a Financial Statement and Reporting Style Guide for Accountancy Students in a collegiate level, introductory accounting classes as a supplement to the accounting text. The findings of the study indicate that students using the style guide perform at a level statistically equivalent to those who do not use the style guide.
