Abstract
In order to achieve a limited historical perspective, that is, in order to demonstrate my growth as a writer during the 3.5 years that I studied at Western Michigan University, I've included a number of stories taht were written during my Sophomore and Junior years.
In order to satisfy the Waldo/Sangren Scholarship Committee, as well as the Honors College of WMU, the vast majority of this collection of short stories was written during my Senior year.
