Abstract
What follows is a story about many things, some of which are true, some of which are false, and some of which are both, or neither. Its original intent (and I am not fully convinced that there is one) is relatively unimportant in the overall scheme of things. Basically, this is a story about some people who do some things in a place that the reader may or may not recognize as a setting that actually exists. Again, the question of whether or not it actually exists (or existed at some point in the past) is not particularly important, at least not to me. I gave up ownership of this story quite awhile ago. I have some things to say about it, but it's just me talking. To assume that everything I'll say is the way it is would be inaccurate--I think.
