Description
In this workshop format, expert readers or "reader leaders" present texts in Old French and Middle French, give a brief overview of the content and linguistic features of the texts and then take the lead in reading aloud. Subsequently attendees at the session volunteer to read aloud as well, while discussion and questions to the expert readers improve attendees knowledge of the pronunciation of these early examples of the French language(s).
