Description

This session seeks to reconstruct the contents of Bede's library at Wearmouth-Jarrow by looking at surviving manuscripts (in the case of Bede's Greek Bible, Oxford, Bodleian Library, Laudianus Gr. 35) or at the sources for his writings, either by focusing on one particular text (the Commentary on Samuel) or on one particular category of source (the writings of Pelagius).
