This session is based on the results of the collective translation project of Hildemar of Corbie's Expositio in Regulam S. Benedicti. See www.hildemar.org. It especially focusses on the effect of Carolingian monastic reform agendas on the commentaries on the Regula Benedicti written by Smaragdus of St. Mihiel and Hildemar of Corbie.
