Description

The study of sources and analogues to Old English literature has long been a mainstay of scholarship in the field: work in this area has helped to illuminate the complex cultural context of the earliest English texts. This panel provides a forum for scholars interested in source study to contribute to the field, whether by identifying new sources and analogues for Anglo-Saxon texts, or by considering the way an Anglo-Saxon author's relationship to his sources reveals something new about his work within its context.
