This panel offers a “window” into the academic study of religious life writings outside its “original” Christian and Europe-centric setting. It will address some of the most pressing issues concerning cross-cultural and comparative studies in literature, philosophy and religious traditions. At the same time, the panel will also offer insights into some specific case studies from Asian religious traditions.
