Dissertations, specialist projects, theses, and capstone projects
All dissertations, master's theses, and honors theses completed at Western Michigan University are entered into ScholarWorks at WMU. Dissertations go back to 1968, some master's theses go back to the 1940's, and honors theses are available from 1963. Capstone projects are included at author's request starting in 2021.
Some dissertations and theses may be embargoed and may be only available from on-campus computers or restricted completely by the authors. Since pre 2012 honors theses were never on the library shelves, we asked for permission from authors and now many are open in ScholarWorks, but the rest are available only from on campus computers.
