10th International Conference on African Development 2018

The Center of African Development Policy Research (CADPR) at Western Michigan University is organizing a conference on the theme:>State of African Economies in the 21st Century: Critical issues of Education, Health, Governance, Conflict and Food and Water Security.

Dates: August 17-18, 2018
Place: 1920 Sangren Hall, College of Education and Human Development, Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA.

To access past conference papers see the International Conferences on African Development Archives. Selected papers will be reviewed for publication in CADPR-sponsored International Journal of African Development.

This conference has been held biennially both in Michigan and in Ethiopia. The most recent was held in Ethiopia with collaboration between three universities. The 10th anniversary ICAD will invite both past participants and new scholars across disciplines including African, International and US alumni from WMU in economics, political science, statistics, biological sciences, chemistry, geology, education, psychology, business, philosophy, nursing and engineering.
