Surface Modification of Metallic Nanoparticles for Effective Destruction of Biological Cells
Dr. Sherine Obare
Synthesizing nanoscale materials with controlled morphology are advantageous particularly when utilizing nanomaterials for biological applications. We have developed a strategy to fabricate metallic nanoparticles and nanowires and examined the toxicity of those NPs toward U-87 brain tumor cells.
