Abstract

This study examines how emotion regulation (ER) moderates the effects of perceived stress (PS) on affect among middle eastern and white adults. Although cultural differences in emotion regulation (ER) use, especially maladaptive ER, were observed, neither ER style nor culture moderated the effect of (PS) on Negative or Positive Affect.
