Abstract

This systematic review explores outcome disparities among Black foster care alumni in the U.S. across five domains: biopsychosocial, education, employment, housing, and justice involvement. Contributing factors include placement instability and resource inequities. Findings highlight the need for culturally informed, equity-focused interventions and further research centered on Black foster alumni’s lived experiences.
