Abstract
The vision for The Mortgage Wizard was sparked in Dr. Scheu's FCL330 Real Estate Fundamentals class. In an exercise entitled, How Much Can You Afford, we went through a very similar format and did the mathematics by hand. This exercise sparked an idea that a spreadsheet version could calculate the outputs instantly when the enter key was pressed.
