Abstract

This report was prepared by Western Michigan University students in order to fulfill an engineering design project requirement. Additionally, the product slated to undergo testing in this project is still undergoing design revision in the Research and Development Department of Stryker Instruments. Information regarding the purpose and specifications of the Pain Pump PCA are not being released to the general public or any of Stryker's market competitors. As the product involves new technology for Stryker and is yet to be released in a heavily competitive market, all references to the product are to be treated as highly confidential material.
