A "Choose Your Own Adventure" book includes several stories that all revolve around one main theme. As you read, you will have the freedom to make decisions that will lead you to one of the many different endings in this book. The purpose of the book is to aid you in exploring the choices you will need to make in planning and undergoing your study abroad. You are encouraged to read the book as many times as you like; we promise that each time you make a new choice it will lead to a new adventure. We as the authors hope to help you get the most out of your experience by introducing you to some of the major decisions you may be faced with before and during your time abroad. Throughout the book, we will present you with a range of possibilities in order to increase your awareness of the options available to you in each of several situations. It is also intended to provide insight into coping with cultural differences and other unanticipated circumstances in which you may find yourself. However, we also encourage you to take this information and expand on it by utilizing the many other resources available. In short, a combination of awareness and research is key in planning a successful study abroad. We hope that this book will be of great help to you, and that after finishing it, you will feel much better prepared for your international study. Have fun and good luck!
