Abstract
In today's world, leadership and the ability to lead is of paramount importance. This paper deals with leadership and the qualities that make leadership effective. The goal of this paper is to identify different approaches to the study of leadership and different qualities that make leadership effective. First, the basic leadership theories will be studied. Second, effective qualities will be reviewed. The two areas will then be combined with an application of leadership development and a conclusion.
