To commemorate 100 years since Latvia declared its independence the Kalamazoo Latvian Association has been working with the College of Fine Arts to hold a Latvian Centennial Arts celebration at Western Michigan University with lectures on Latvian art, literature and music, concerts and exhibits. The weekend has received support from the Ministry of Culture of Latvia.

Though most of the events are free please register here. Payments for the dinner at the Latvian Center can be made at the door or you can pay online here.
