Description
School children in a classroom in village in remote Boir Ahmad. Boys and girls were schooled in one classroom here. This was in part because the village was so small, that there was only one teacher. Also, this image was taken before the Islamic revolution, after which boys and girls would be separated. Education would preferentially go to boys if resources - such as teachers - were limited.
