Description

The IMS was created over a decade ago in order to assist budding and seasoned scholars who arrive in France to conduct research in the country’s many archives and libraries. The purpose of this session is to explain how to work efficiently in France. Much has changed in recent years. It is time to bring everyone up to date with the latest in how to prepare and what to expect given the new funding realities and the availability of a tangle of exciting resources online. This is the purpose of the 2019 workshop conducted by the IMS. Valerie M. Wilhite
