Description

The session will consist of three to four brief presentations on specific cultural areas where HMML has worked in recent years—in particular, Mali, India, and the Middle East—to highlight both the materials collected and the cultures out of which the manuscripts come. The session will be given by researchers and curators who work directly with those collections. In keeping with the workshop format, the presentations will be given with live demonstrations of searching in vHMML, to allow a free flow of ideas and questions.
