The Medieval Academy workshop will take place in the context of historical and current issues of inclusion and exclusion among its membership and leadership. Participants will include representatives of MAA governance and relevant committees. For the MAA, this workshop is an essential step in ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and safe environment for all medievalists, especially medievalists of color.

Attendance will be limited to 15-20 participants.
