Description

The daily summary was obtained from Michigan's main COVID-19 page: https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus. Data was compiled by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The information was updated daily at 2p.m., with yesterday's COVID-19 positive results as of midnight.

The image shows the table "Daily Confirmed COVID-19 Cases by County", which provided statistics on daily cases in each Michigan county. The City of Detroit and Wayne County were reported separately.

Note: This is the first time that MDHHS provided new cases for each county in a tabular form. Previously these numbers were only contained within press releases-- see the collection Cumulative Michigan COVID-19 Data
