Amid the Coronavirus Pandemic, Rev. Sharpton Calls Upon Faith Leaders to Discontinue Services Leading Into Easter
Civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton discussed with the religious leaders of the United States' largest Black Christian denominations. The discussion occurred in order for Rev. Sharpton to convince leaders to not have regular church service during Holy Week. Church leaders from a few states such as Louisiana and Florida have been arrested, however, Rev. Sharpton explains that holding church service is putting the lives of church members at risk.
