Biography

Ann Chapleau, D.H.S., OTR/L, is an associate professor of occupational therapy at Western Michigan University. She has over 25 years of clinical and managerial experience in community mental health. Her research focus is homelessness prevention and interventions for people with severe mental illness and addiction. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and newsletters, AOTA publications, and book chapters, and has presented her work at local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Chapleau is the recipient of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association’s 2012 Award for Excellence for Outstanding Global Contributions to the Profession.
