Abstract
A library science student scans the titles of the assigned journal articles: "Changing an Image," "Public Relations, Publicity and Progress," and "Good Public Relations are a Must for Libraries." However, it does not seem to her tat the message of the changed image is being heard by those who are neither librarians nor persons studying to enter the profession. The nebulous mass labeled "the general public" seems deaf to the unsuccessful cries of library officials.
