Abstract
This series of experiments was undertaken to elucidate the ecological effects, if any, that the presence of a blue-green algae, Oscillatoria agardhii, has on the mortality rate of a common zooplankter, Daphnia magna. Further tests were designed and run to determine what effect the presence of the algae might have on the relative rates of reproduction in Dhapnia.
