Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the crisis communication practices that Dow Corning Corporation used to communicate its filing for bankruptcy to the employees; and to determine if the company's practices match those recommended by public relations experts. Specifically, the company's four main internal communications objectives will be examined to determine if, and to what extent, they were accomplished.
