Abstract

When I began writing about the bicycle trip, about a year ago, I didn't have much of an idea what I was doing. I began sketching scenes and writing short stories within the action. Having never written anything longer than twelve pages in my life, I got a little overwhelmed with the size of my project. I didn't know how to think on a big scale. For a long time I thought it would never come together.
