Abstract
This thesis describes the implementation of the ART 2 neural network algorithm into the preexisting object oriented C++ Monarch Neural Network Library. This thesis covers the features and motivations behind the design of ART 2 along with a discussion of the integration of the ART 2 algorithm into Monarch. This thesis also provides a mini user's guide explaining how to take advantage of the ART 2 classes and examples of instantiations of ART 2 neural networks.
