Abstract

Day by day digital printing is changing rapidly in terms of printing quality and speed. Moreover it is able to mimic the press with desired color consistency and low cost. The aim and purpose of this work was to investigate the proof color matching capability of two ink-jet digital printers, differing in ink technology and prepress color matching software used, for spot colors matching to ones printed on a flexo press. The results were produced by evaluating color differences between the colors from the flexo press versus the digitally reproduced colors from proofing devices.
