On March 21, 2013, the Graduate College and University Libraries at Western Michigan University held a workshop aimed mostly at graduate students to improve their research skills in the digital age. Topics included searching in specific subject areas, dissertations, books beyond library walls, mapping services, digital scholarship, making publications count, digital portfolios, patent searching and census.
