Abstract
In the United States, nearly one in five women report experiencing rape. Female survivors’ experiences tend to become secondary to the male perpetrator’s public reputation. This poster will summarize information about sexual violence, utilize System Justification Theory to make sense of its acceptance, and provide recommendations for the future.
