Abstract
In this poster, I first review and summarize literature on the history of counseling psychology in integrated health care. Next, I will make a case for the necessity of including counseling psychologists in the integrated health care model with emphasis given to counseling psychologists’ meaningful contribution to integrated care. Then, using counseling psychology literature, I will demonstrate how integrated health care is consistent with our professional identity as counseling psychologists. Finally, I will discuss possible ethical pitfalls that counseling psychologists should be mindful while working in the integrated care settings.
